Delegation led by Jia Wenjian visits Germany, Austria for academic collaboration

A delegation led by Jia Wenjian, deputy secretary of the CPC committee of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) and vice-president of the university, embarked on a journey to Germany and Austria from Oct 18 to 25. 

The delegation participated in a series of significant events. They attended council meetings of the Confucius Institute at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), the Confucius Institute in Munich and the Confucius Institute at the University of Vienna, and visited the Munich University of Applied Languages, with the aim of discussing collaborative projects and deepening cultural exchanges. 

One notable highlight of the trip was the celebration of the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the art space at the FAU Confucius Institute.

The delegation also visited the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), the Chinese consulate general in Munich and the Chinese embassy in Austria, seeking cooperative opportunities and holding discussions with diplomatic personnel.
