The university remains steadfast in deepening international cultural exchanges and contributing to the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind, Wang said.

Wang expressed optimism that through continued collaboration, BFSU and LU could nurture outstanding students beneficial to both countries and promote people-to-people bonds among the people of China and Latvia.

Muižnieks reciprocated by presenting the history and international exchange initiatives of LU. As the most influential and largest institution of higher learning in Latvia, the university is willing to collaborate with BFSU in such fields as linguistics, literature, political science, diplomacy, and history, the rector said, adding that he hopes both sides will work hand in hand for mutual development.

Participants of the meeting also engaged in discussions about the future collaborations between BFSU and LU. They highlighted the strong friendship that had developed between the two universities, with significant strides made in faculty and student exchanges, through frameworks such as Erasmus+ and other programs.
