Ten Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) courses have been selected among the second batch of national first-class undergraduate courses, according to a recent list released by the Ministry of Education.
Two are online courses, one follows a hybrid online-offline format, and the remaining seven are conducted through traditional offline methods.
BFSU now boasts a total of 17 courses recognized as national first-class undergraduate courses.
BFSU has prioritized the cultivation of students' moral character and recognized the construction of first-class undergraduate courses as an essential aspect in enhancing undergraduate teaching quality. The university has enhanced research on teaching reform, placed high value on ideological and political education, nurtured talented teaching professionals, and fostered exceptional teaching teams.
Looking ahead, BFSU will leverage the opportunity of constructing first-class undergraduate courses to improve its curriculum construction, management, evaluation and incentive mechanisms. Through continuous optimization of its curriculum system, enhancement of course quality and acceleration in curriculum reform and innovation, the university will develop more advanced, innovative, and challenging first-class courses and drive the high-quality development of undergraduate talent cultivation.
