Andrei Karol, rector of Belarusian State University (BSU), led a team to visit Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) on March 23.

Yang extended a warm welcome to the team and briefed them on the development of BFSU and its achievements in disciplinary construction, talent training and international cooperation in recent years.
He reviewed the friendly exchanges between China and Belarus and said he hopes to take the signing as an opportunity to conduct in-depth cooperation with BSU in such fields as exchange programs for teachers and students, Belarusian language textbooks and academic research within the framework of the Consortium for Country and Area Studies.
The cooperation will promote people-to-people and cultural exchanges, enhance mutual understanding, and jointly create a better future, Yang added.
Karol introduced the history, disciplinary construction and current development of BSU, and said the university is willing to work with BFSU to open up cooperative channels and strive for higher-level collaboration.
