Research papers done by teachers from Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) and recommended by the university won a first-class award and two third-class awards in a nationwide selection of outstanding achievements in deepening the reform of college innovation and entrepreneurship education from 2015 to 2020.
The results were recently announced by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of China and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Research Center of China.
BFSU also pocketed a prize in recognition of its excellent organization during relevant selection activities.
The organizing committee kicked off its selection on Oct 18, 2021. Experts from the research center and the academic committee voted for 50 outstanding organizational awards, 41 first-class awards, 65 second-class awards and 92 third-class awards.
According to the organizers, all awarded papers will be compiled into a publication to review the research achievements made by the country in deepening the reform of college innovation and entrepreneurship education from 2015 to 2020.
During the past few years, BFSU has leveraged its resources and strengths in the exploration of new educational ideas, approaches and methods, and improved teaching, learning and reform by participating in competitions. It has promoted professionalism, relevance and effectiveness in innovation and entrepreneurship guidance, and performed soundly in various types of such competitions.
Contestants from BFSU claimed a first-class award, a second-class award and five third-class awards in the Beijing area of the just-concluded Eighth China International College Students’ “Internet +” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
During the Third Beijing Cultural Products Design Contest for College Students, participants from the university won two second prizes and one third prize in the non-professional category.
BFSU will press ahead with its efforts in innovation and entrepreneurship and guide its students to take an active part in relevant activities and incorporate their improved mindsets into learning and practices. The university will also assist them in expanding development paths, enhancing exchanges and strengthening personal awareness in innovation and entrepreneurship, so that they can put what they have learned into practice.
