The editorial board of International Forum held a topic selection conference on Nov 4.

International Forum is a comprehensive academic journal on international issues sponsored by the Institute of International Studies of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). 

Representatives from BFSU, China Foreign Affairs University, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law and other renowned universities and research institutions attended the conference. 

The conference was presided over by Professor Wang Mingjin, associate editor-in-chief of the journal.

Sun Youzhong, vice-president of BFSU and editor-in-chief of the journal, thanked the editorial members for their help and support in topic selection and manuscript reviewing. He said that the journal should further play its role in discipline construction and academic research, promote the dissemination and exchange of excellent academic achievements, and serve national strategies.

Scholars and experts exchanged views on major issues concerning global order, the diplomacy of major powers, international economics, area studies, global governance and national security. They also put forward suggestions for International Forum on its topic selection and column setting.
