Zhao Gang, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) Committee and vice-president of BFSU, was invited to attend and delivered a speech at the recent Spring Festival reception hosted by the China-SCO Higher Education Cooperation Center in Beijing.

At the event, Zhao shared insights and practices based on BFSU's educational characteristics and achievements in international cooperation.

He discussed topics such as the interconnection of higher education among SCO member countries, joint talent cultivation, and collaborative scientific research innovation. Zhao emphasized that BFSU will continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation with universities from SCO member countries, actively contributing to the development of regional education and cultural exchange.

The China-SCO Higher Education Cooperation Center, established on Sept 2, is the first comprehensive hub platform in the SCO higher education field initiated by China, aiming to serve the high-quality co-construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, further deepening higher education cooperation among SCO member countries.

BFSU faculty and students provided high-quality language translation services for this event, completing simultaneous interpretation in Chinese-English and Chinese-Russian, which was highly praised by the attendees.
