During the three-month preparation period, team members conducted in-depth research on relevant cases, performed legal searches, and honed their debating skills through continuous practice and mock debates.

The competition, organized by the Air Law Research Association of the China Law Society and China University of Political Science and Law, simulated the proceedings of the International Court of Justice. It attracted participation from 27 universities across the country. Competing teams were required to demonstrate a strong foundation in International Air Law and apply international legal frameworks like the Convention on International Civil Aviation in their arguments. The entire competition was conducted in English, highlighting the dual language proficiency required of participants.
