Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) held a Spring Festival gathering for its international faculty and students on Feb 16, Chinese New Year's eve.

Zhao Gang, BFSU's vice-president, attended the event.

Zhao highlighted the significant progress made by BFSU over the past year in areas such as talent development, discipline construction and international cooperation. He expressed gratitude to all international faculty and students for their contributions to the university's multilingual and international educational environment, which supports cultural exchange between China and other countries.

Zhao emphasized that every international faculty member and student is an integral part of the BFSU family, and the university's steady development relies on their dedication and collaboration. During his speech, he wished everyone a safe, healthy and joyful Spring Festival, and presented them with traditional Chinese couplets, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.

The international faculty and students expressed sincere gratitude for the university's support. They shared their experiences and insights from teaching multiple languages and engaging in cross-cultural learning at BFSU over the past year, as well as their hopes and aspirations for the new year.
