On Sept 20, Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) held its 84th anniversary celebration and alumni homecoming day events.

As one of the celebration events, a cultural performance was held on campus, showcasing the diverse talents and positive spirit of BFSU's students through recitations, dramas, song medleys, and dances.

A highlight of the event was the "Latin American Classics Medley" performed by the 1964 alumni of the Department of Hispanic and Portuguese, which received enthusiastic applause from the audience.

The event was broadcast via live streaming, attracting the participation and attention of numerous alumni, faculty, and students both online and offline.

The alumni also visited the BFSU's history museum, where they explored the university's rich history and cultural heritage through precious historical documents and video materials, and gained a deeper understanding of the mission of BFSU members as "cultural ambassadors."
