Almost 300 international students and scholars from 36 higher education institutions in 56 countries and regions took the stage to sing, dance, and perform acrobatics, crosstalk and sitcom.

Close to 1,000 faculty members and student representatives from universities in Beijing gathered at BFSU to witness this visual feast.

The event was hosted by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission. Senior members of the Ministry of Education, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and various municipal departments and universities in Beijing attended.

The event also recognized excellence in education and cultural contributions. Awards were presented to universities excelling in the 2024 quality assessment of higher education for international students in China, to educators and management staff members showcasing outstanding teaching and professional competence and to overseas students who won the Beijing calligraphy competition for college students.

The Beijing International Students’ Night is a shared signature cultural brand of higher education institutions in Beijing. This year’s event, themed "Chasing Dreams across Mountains and Seas, Encountering the Colorful Beijing", offered an international stage that transcended cultures, nationalities and institutions.

It showcased overseas students’ stories as they came to understand Beijing, study in Beijing, integrate into Beijing and stay in Beijing, and highlighted the confident and open image of universities in the city, which fostered a harmonious and diverse campus culture.
