The university played a significant role in the preparation of the event. It provided rehearsal facilities and technical support for stage presentations and coordinated seven large-scale rehearsals and daily practices.

BFSU dispatched 162 volunteers to support the Belt and Road Forum, with 84 of them dedicated to the Thematic Forum on People-to-People Connectivity. They offered reception, interpretation and translation services.

The Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation featured a stage play performed by seven international students from the university, representing Pakistan, Russia, the Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Malaysia, Myanmar and Sri Lanka. It depicted the story of a girl who realized her dreams and became a messenger of people-to-people connectivity through her involvement in the Belt and Road Initiative.

During the video presentation session, BFSU Alumnus Wang Yuhao’s case of an international volunteer service platform was included in the video of the Thematic Forum on People-to-People Connectivity. The platform has actively engaged in international volunteer services in such fields as educational support, care for underprivileged children and community education services, providing opportunities for young individuals to develop a sense of patriotism and global perspective while utilizing their professional skills in cultural exchanges.

BFSU's dedication and contributions to the forum exemplify its commitment to the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative, the promotion of people-to-people connections and the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
