The newly upgraded websites, which feature elegant pages, clear structure and full resource integration, consist of seven main sections: News, About, Academics, Research, International, Admission and Alumni & Giving, presenting the university’s characteristics and achievements. The new portal has improved user experience.

The BFSU multilingual portal covers 47 languages and is the most diverse university portal in China. It is built based on BFSU’s discipline characteristics to show an international image, and shares the stories of both China and the university with audiences around the world.

BFSU started building the portal in 2015 and revised its English website in September 2021. The recently released Arabic, French, Russian, Spanish, German and Japanese websites have provided the portal with more complete functions and prominent features.

BFSU has pursued development through talent training, academic studies and global exchanges in recent years, as well as advanced its global strategy across the board utilizing global languages, culture and governance.

The university has explored new ways for global communication, taken its multilingual websites as the mainstay and striven for the all-round development of its overseas social media accounts to improve its global reputation.

This year, BFSU opened accounts on overseas social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, to tell Chinese stories to global audiences, help China go global and let the world understand China better.
