The BFSU Educational Foundation was registered on November 18, 2010 as a non-public foundation which supports teaching and learning and promotes the university's development with donations. The Foundation receives donations from charity organizations, corporations, entities, social organizations and individuals in and outside of China. Its funding is used to support educational efforts of BFSU and improve its teaching environment and facilities, reward students and faculty members on a merit basis, fund basic research, teaching research and publications, support students in participating in global exchanges, and faculty in participating in overseas exchanges, international academic cooperation and global academic conferences. Special donations will be spent in line with the donors' wishes.
